General Data Protection Regulations 2018 (GDPR)

The GDPR replaces the Data Protection Act 1998.  This legislation applies to the UK and the EU.  All staff at Oaklodge Practice have a legal obligation to keep your data confidential and secure.  We will ensure  access to personal data is limited to the appropriate staff and shared with organisations who have legitimate consent for access.

Organisations that we may share data with are NHS 24, Out of Hours Service, Health and Social Care Partnership eg Social Work Home Care Services, Community Care Services eg District Nursing Team. Your information will only be shared if it is appropriate for the provision of your ongoing care.
